Eilidh Cameron-Sykes – Founder 

Eilidh Cameron-Sykes from North Ballachulish founded Beinn Nibheis in 2021 and has been working to narrow the gear gap for women since. Brought up in the outdoors daughter of Nevisport founder Ian ‘Spike’ Sykes Eilidh has a deep understanding and passion for the outdoor market. A Lochaber Gàidheal she has also worked in Gaelic Language development.  

Gemma Carver – Designer – Non-Chalant 

 is a womenswear & fashion designer, born and bred in the highlands. 

Studied at Scottish school of fashion and textiles in Galashiels, who has run her own label for the last 15 years. Gemma has been  designing for Beinn Nibheis and working on a new collection of adventure-wear exclusively for women.  

 My design style is to empower women by making clothes that make you feel amazing from the inside out with natural, feel-good fabric, feminine cuts that enhance and embody our curves.

Fifi Kamel – Founder of Bike As You Are. 

Moufida (Fifi) Kamel is a Lochaber local bike mechanic, relocating from Glasgow to Fort William back in 2019 to live closer the mountains and enjoy a slower pace of life. She is currently in the process of setting up her own enterprise, Bike As You Are. 

Bike As You Are is a bike repairs service with the long-term vision to make cycling a more accessible and inclusive space; facilitating projects and services which aim to address the race, gender and class disparity in cycling, locally and beyond. 

Fifi is delighted to run the BAYA cycle repairs workshop out of the same premises as Beinn Nibheis, working alongside other class women! For more information about Bike As You Are, visit their website at:

Lilli Robinson – Founder/Artist Discover and draw 

Lilli Robinson is a Nether lochaber Artist. Originally from Bath she created Discover and Draw in 2019 as a way to translate the positive physical and mental impacts outdoor adventures has on our health and wellbeing. Discover and draw started collaborating with Beinn Nibheis in 2022 celebrating mountain women through her incredible design work.
